I wrote a song yesterday, you can listen if you'd like. Left click to listen, Right to download.
It's pretty rough, but it was just a quick one off. I haven't been writing much lately, but I was inspired by our pastor's sermon topic this coming Sunday (Matthew 7:7-12). When I write, it's normally all at once, with a little tweaking afterwards. I usually have some old ideas kicking around that I can incorporate, which I did this time as well. Anyway, lemme know if you like it.

You say it‘s your birthday...
Today, I am thirty. It happened while I was sleeping, because I was born at 6:31 am EST, so out here that was 3:31 am. I don't feel so old, because of course, I'm not. I remember when I was a young lad, watching the Detroit Tigers' on TV. The commentators would always call the players "young men" and I always thought that was strange, because those players were so old compared to me. Now, I am roughly the same age as the average baseball player, and I still feel like a young man. So George Kell and Al Kaline, sorry for thinking you guys didn't know what you were talking about.

Ode to mine Wife
I have a wonderful wife. She is very smart and talented. No one beats her baking or cooking! She is thoughtful and caring, and conscientious. I admire her wisdom, except when it's directed at me of course. I must mention that she is very beautiful and a great mother as well.
I mention all of this because I've been wanting to for a while but actually remembered to finally. She did a devotional for a Bridal Shower the other night and I just heard some feedback as to how great she did. She's not big on doing that kind of stuff, but she has a lot to say that is a blessing to others. And I'm not writing this for brownie points with her, because she never reads my blog. I just want the world to know how much I love her more and more everyday.
