i think that this one is the most "traditional" looking one. The one that america probably sees as "the nativity scene." Everyone's caucasian, perfect looking, etc. HELLO!!!!! why can't people accept the fact that Jesus was a Jew. Everyone creates Him in their nationality. interesting.
The sword is in his right hand. Conpicuously, he's holding it at the same angle as the shadow of the wire background thing behind him. Hmm. Maybe it's not a sword. I take back my sword compliment.

Ok, now Joseph's got a sword! That's what I like to see. I won't make any comment on what the sword might be used for.
