The Tribe has spoken...

Although comments are on the rise here in mumbleville, the natives are getting restless. So I will drop the advent picture thing. As far as news goes, there isn't much to speak of really. We had our youth Christmas party on Friday night. One of the games we played was called "Santa's Beard Relay" which involved smearing vaseline on your face, running over and smooshing your face into a bowl of cotton balls to make a beard. Initially, there was a good deal of grumbling about the grossness of said game, but when I put it to a vote, no one voted against playing, and everyone seemed to enjoy it in the end. What other job do you get to do stuff like that? We also made shrinky dink ornaments. If that isn't festive, I don't know what is...

Hey Doug. SOunds like a good game. What else does it involve and who wins? The one with the best beard? Sounds like a fun one to try with our family. Yes the James' are doing fun activities instead of gifts so I'm looking for stuff like Santa Beard Relay....

You break into teams. Starting at one end you run to the bowl, stick your face in it and run back and tag the other person. The team with the most cotton balls wins. Hint: don't rub the vaseline in too much or the cotton balls don't stick.
