Whaddya think?

One of my many goals is to learn a little something about html and webpages and such, just for my own interest. My only outlet for this so far is this blog. I figured out how to change the colours and am working on making it look... um, different. I never was really happy with that green colour. In any event, if you have any suggestions or ideas as to what I should do with it, don't hesitate to comment. And have a good weekend. Ours shall be quite busy and I'll not have a moment to updateth thee on mine meanderings and such.

it is definitely different :) i've found that a blog is the greatest way to learn html stuff because...how bad can you really screw it up? if it all fails, cancel the changes and you're back to the start :) however, i don't know a whole lot either. so feel free to teach me whatever you learn.
see you and the fam tomorrow morn?

May I liken fiddling with your blog template to learn HTML like fiddling with a tiny sports car engine to learn about mechanical things. I think the biggest hurdle you might have to learning HTML from the ground up (a much better and easier way than trying to figure out a Blogger template) is actually getting stuff on the internet - but you don't even have to do that.

Open up notepad (or whatever is built into Windows these days,) go to a website about learning HTML (may I suggest http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp ) and give it a go. You can look at your webpages straight off of your computer and won't even have to worry about FTPing them to a webserver somewhere.

Anyways, the precis to this comment is: I think it's easier to learn HTML by starting small and learning the basics than to try to pull apart a complicated Blogger template.
