Last Night, our son got his very first Happy Meal from McDonald's. We rarely go, but we caved in to the temptation whilst we were at Wal-Mart last night. He seemed to enjoy the 3 nuggets, fries and chocolate milk. The toy was about the lamest toy I've ever seen from McDonald's. Bummer. He didn't seem to mind so much, it was perfect for sucking on.
On a side note, my own experience with the Big Macness was actually pretty good. That was the least gross I've felt after going to McDonald's in recent memory. Although to be fair, recent memory is like 4 times in the last 3 years. I assume we'll go back sometime towards the end of next year, just to remind ourselves of why we don't go there...

I'm not a frequent mcd's visitor either, though tonight, I'm going to poison myself on my way out to a youth event. i would almost consider it a craving. Can't remember the last time I went, and I don't anticipate another craving like this very soon, so I figure it's better to get rid of the craving now...or something like that...
