Because waiting sucks! Still no baby... Due date has come and gone, but due dates are really more like guidelines anyway. So, not much to report on that front. In other news, I've gotten off some application packets for some cool jobs. I know something's gonna work out. For one of them I needed to send in some songs that I've written. I tried to finish up some of my current songs and send those. There are by no means finished, but they were good enough that someone could get a feel for what I can do. Did anyone manage to listen/download Set this Captive Free yet? What did ya think?
We've been going to Capilano Christian Community for the last month. We've really been liking it. It's so nice to enjoy going to church. The pastor today was talking about how Jesus' disciples were asking all sorts of questions during the last supper about what was going to happen and what they should do. Jesus didn't give answers, because answers don't relieve anxieties. Trusting in Jesus does. It was a good thing for me to hear. I get really anxious quite frequently. It's hard not to doubt yourself when you've been fired and when all the responses you've gotten so far have been no's. But soon there will be a yes and God's going to work things out for us. I have to trust Him, and it was good to be reminded of that.

I checked out and commented on your song a whole month ago, and have been patiently waiting for you to answer :)
re: Frogs and Flies, now that you mention it, you may have been the one to introduce me to that game, and maybe gave me my first copy of it from your old collection? If so, thanks!
I remember being at work an not wanting to sign up for soundclick. But, thanks to the reminder, I did so tonight. It's a very atmospheric and clean recording. How much is "live" and how much is sequenced? It all has a somewhat sequenced feel, but I can hear the liveness in the bass especially and in a guitar squeak or two. It a much more mellow version of the one you let Robin and I play with. BTW, Robin, any chance of hearing that version this that the three of us recorded? All in all it sounds really good, and I look forward to more.
i sure tried to listen - neither my work or home computer will let me listen to it. maybe next time we're over you'll have to let us hear it on your computer (unless you want to sing it for us!)
