The least

Matthew 5:19-20

Upon reading this bit a little closer, Jesus calls those who disobey the law "the least in the kingdom", and those who obey, "great in the kingdom". Strangely enough, both are "in the kingdom". I would have thought that the law breakers would not have been on the inside. I mean, He goes on to say that, unless your righteousness is greater than that of the Pharisees, you won't enter the kingdom to begin with.
I looks as though, the obeying/non-obeying aren't the prerequisites for being in the kingdom. Ultimately, it does matter whether you obey or not, Jesus says so. Just not in the way you'd think it should (or at least not in way some people would have us believe).
Again, I think it comes down to what I was talking about yesterday, that's it really isn't about what we do, but rather who we are in Christ.
